About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial tasks for our Florida location, Ogden Brothers Construction. This is a full-time, in-office role in our St. Louis office (63119). The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy.
Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.

Prepare and analyze financial statements.

Assist with budgets and forecasts.

Perform general ledger accounting and journal entries.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and policies.
-
Assist with audits and tax preparation.
-
Maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
-
Experience:
-
4+ years of proven accounting experience.
-
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
-
Experience with internal and external audits.
-
Skills:
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong organization, communication, and people skills.
-
Detail-oriented and proactive.
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technical:
-
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
-
Experience with CMIC or Sage 300 is highly preferred.

Education:
-
College Degree in Business Administration (or related field) with an emphasis in accounting.

CPA certification is preferred.​
