About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial tasks for our Florida location, Ogden Brothers Construction. This is a full-time, in-office role in our St. Louis office (63119). The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements.

• Assist with budgets and forecasts.

• Perform general ledger accounting and journal entries.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and policies.

• Assist with audits and tax preparation.

• Maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Experience:

• 4+ years of proven accounting experience.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

• Experience with internal and external audits.

• Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organization, communication, and people skills.

• Detail-oriented and proactive.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Technical:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office.

• Experience with CMIC or Sage 300 is highly preferred.

• Education:

• College Degree in Business Administration (or related field) with an emphasis in accounting.

• CPA certification is preferred.​
