ACME Constructors has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Equipment Clerk for our team at our office in Scott City, MO.  Schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with additional hours as required.

​

As a Warehouse Equipment Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately tracking incoming and outgoing tools, equipment, and materials. You will use computer software and other technologies to setup tools and materials in the database and to accurately report all transactions to the project managers and shop manager. You will report all shortages and deficiencies. You will perform all duties while complying with all safety guidelines.

Other duties will include:

  • Load and deliver tools to jobs

  • Taking order calls from the field and generating pick tickets for these items to be executed by the warehouse team.

  • Answer the phone and doors when office staff are out

  • Operate forklift and other construction equipment as needed.

  • Managing the stock of materials kept in inventory for our shop

  • Ordering materials for and equipment for outside projects from third party providers

  • Maintain the materials and tools inventory are stored and maintained in a clean and organized fashion

  • Provide excellent customer service to field crews and project management teams

  • Make adjustments and reconcile tool and material charges within the project accounting system on a monthly basis[AV2] 

  • Manage inventory and improve [AV3] efficiency of stocking levels, dispatch, and order fulfillment

  • Conducting periodic inventories of tools and equipment in our warehouses and on jobsites.

  • Removing broken or obsolete equipment from the database and inventory.

  • Invoice and replace lost or broken tools as necessary.

  • Partnering with accounting and St Louis office on new equipment and tool purchases

  • Periodic updates to equipment charges and rental rates

  • Maintain vehicle inspection and maintenance records

  • Be responsible for the installation GPS and RFID tracking on tools as directed

  • Be responsible for maintaining all DOT compliance documentation

  • Collecting and logging vehicle inspections on warehouse equipment

  • Be responsible for maintenance records on all other mobile equipment

  • Develop and ensure the department has clear, concise, and up-to-date written procedures

 

Qualifications

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and overall good computer skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in Shop and/or working with parts a plus

  • Ability to learn new software and programs both on a computer or other technology such as a smartphone

  • Competent keyboard skills

The licensing/registration/certification/identification requirements for this position are, but not limited to, as follows:

  • Required: Must have valid Drivers License Class A
