Estimator/Project Manager – Cape Girardeau

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing new and improving client relationships

  • Developing comprehensive estimates including materials, equipment, subcontractors, and labor

  • Execution of projects from award to closeout while managing the day-to-day activities and accounting

  • Ensuring that the ACME Constructors and client safety programs are being adhered to

  • Ensuring that projects are completed in the highest quality manner in accordance with the ACME Constructors Quality Plan

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Experience with material quantity take offs.

  • Experience with the following software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills and focused attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge base through use of technology

  • A positive winning attitude!

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in proposal writing

  • Project management or project engineer experience in an industrial setting

  • General understanding of cranes and rigging

  • Experience in electronic plan take offs and estimating using estimating software

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Required education:

  • BS in Engineering or Construction Management or Equivalent Experience in the Construction Field
