About the Role 

 
The Carpenter and Millwright is responsible for constructing, assembling, installing, and repairing wood and metal framed structures on industrial machinery. Skilled in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and ensuring precision alignment and safety compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. 
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, drywall, forms, or other building components. 
• Construct and install temporary and permanent structures such as scaffolding, formwork, and concrete forms. 
• Install doors, windows, hardware, and finish trim. 
• Assist with demolition, framing, layout, and concrete placement as needed. 
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. 
• Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and material inventory. 
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. 
• Collaborate with other trades to support timely project completion. 
• Inspect work to ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish.  

 

Required Qualifications: 
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial carpentry. 
• Proficient in reading blueprints and layout. 
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment. 
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 75 lbs. 
• Understanding of construction math and measuring techniques. 
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification. 
• Trade school, apprenticeship, or journeyman-level experience. 
• Experience working on self-perform industrial projects. 
• Forklift or equipment certification. 

 

Work Environment: 
• Outdoor and indoor job site conditions including exposure to weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. 
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and climbing for extended periods. 
• May involve work at heights or in confined spaces.  

• Must be willing to travel

• Must be able to provide basic hand tools

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen. Employees may also be subject to random drug testing in accordance with company policy and applicable law
